Meet your beekeeper – Pasha

My love for bees and beekeeping started as a child when I used to help my grandmother on her small holding in rural Ukraine – I was always in awe with her connection to nature and miraculous ability to produce such a wonderful food treat. I have always loved the calmness and tranquility of spending time with the bees so in 2022 I built my first beehive here in Buckinghamshire in the rural hamlet of Singleborough. I was thrilled seeing how the bees thrived in the local farmland, hedgerows and gardens and shared the honey with family, friends and neighbours. I expanded to a few other local locations the following year and in to the mature woodlands of Woburn where the bees have found happy foraging amongst the ancient chestnut trees – producing a dark rich honey which is a perfect match with cheese!

I have a huge passion for the care of my bees and have been known that if one ever gets caught in my bee suit to take it back to the hive to reunite with its colony!
